Installation of New Garage Doors
For installation of new garage doors, this warranty covers defects in workmanship, for labor furnished by GGD, hereby known as GGD, as part of the installation of the new garage door for the term indicated by the specific warranty associated with each item on the estimate/invoice from the date of installation. The garage door manufacturer provided its own separate warranty to you for the door and its parts. This warranty at the determination of GGD, may also cover defects in parts over and above the manufacturer's warranty as indicated in the specific warranty associated with each item on the estimate/invoice. GGD will correct any defective workmanship and if a part is covered by this or the manufacturer’s warranty, GGD will repair or replace that defective part, at no charge for labor, or parts if indicated, for the term indicated by the specific warranty associated with each item on the estimate/invoice from the date of installation. Service charge may apply. Please note: If the specific warranty associated with each item on the estimate/invoice is left blank, the warranty defaults to a 90 day warranty period.
For a repair to an existing garage door, this warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, including installation, for parts furnished by GGD, as part of the repair. GGD will repair, or if repair is not possible, he/she will replace and defective part or workmanship at no charge for parts and/or materials. Refer to the term indicated by the specific warranty associated with each item on the estimate/invoice. A service charge may apply.
How Long Coverage Lasts
This warranty begins when repairs or installation are complete. This warranty cannot be transferred. For a new garage door installation or repairs to an existing door, the labor warranty is for the term indicated by the specific warranty associated with each item on the invoice from the date of the installation or repair.
What Is Not Covered
If any one other than the authorized GGD Company, who performed the original service work on any new or repaired part covered, then that part and the labor to repair or replace that part is no longer covered under this warranty. For new garage door installations, see the manufacturer's warranty for what is not covered under its warranty.
This warranty does not cover any materials or workmanship provided by anyone other than the authorized GGD Company issuing this warranty. This warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damages, such as damages or injury to a person or property because a garage door did not operate properly. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
